Supergrow alternatives, including simpler options for LinkedIn

Supergrow is a full LinkedIn content system with AI interviews, voice notes, scheduling, engagement, analytics and team approvals; if you want fewer moving parts, a simpler tool fits better, whether that is a chat that drafts from your notes, a formatting editor for posts you write, or a plain scheduler.

Short answer: Supergrow does a lot, and that is its strength and its cost. If you use most of it, stay. If you want something simpler, pick by the one job you need done:

  • You want posts drafted from your own notes and voice memos, in one chat: Amelia.
  • You write your own posts and want formatting, a preview and analytics: AuthoredUp.
  • You just need to schedule posts, maybe across several networks: Typefully or Buffer.
  • You want more features, not fewer, including lead outreach: Taplio.
  • You want a fixed weekly routine built from a brain-dump: ContentIn.

We make Amelia, one of the options on this list. We have tried to give every tool the use case it wins, including the ones where Supergrow or another competitor is the better choice. Prices are from each vendor's own pricing page, checked on the date shown next to each one.

What a simpler alternative to Supergrow looks like

Supergrow describes itself as a place to create content, grow your network, and track what works(Supergrow homepage, 2026-10-24), and its pricing page sums up how it differs from ChatGPT as the difference between a word processor and a complete content operating system(Supergrow pricing, 2026-10-24). The Pro plan alone bundles a voice profile, AI interviews, repurposing from YouTube, articles, PDF(Supergrow pricing, 2026-10-24), scheduling with a calendar and a Kanban board, a carousel maker, an engagement module, an MCP connection to Claude and ChatGPT, and analytics.

That is a lot of surface if what you want is a post a week. "Simpler" can mean three different things, and each points to a different tool:

  1. Fewer steps between an idea and a post. You want to send a thought or a voice memo and get back a draft, without choosing a module first. That is the job Amelia does: one conversation, from your material to a post you publish.
  2. No AI at all, just a better editor. You write every word and want LinkedIn formatting and a preview. That is AuthoredUp.
  3. Only scheduling. You already have the post. Typefully and Buffer schedule it with very little setup.

Supergrow also takes voice notes, so if voice input is all you are after, it already does that. The case for switching is fewer moving parts, not a missing feature.

How we evaluated

We read each tool's pricing page, feature pages and help docs, and noted what each plan includes for someone posting on LinkedIn. For criticism we read G2 reviews, independent review sites and video reviews. Reviews published by companies that sell a competing LinkedIn tool were set aside. We found no Reddit, Trustpilot or Capterra reviews of Supergrow, so the user feedback below comes mostly from G2.

We did not run a paid trial of every tool, so this compares what each tool offers and what its users report, not a hands-on test. We watch each vendor's pricing page and update this post when a price changes.

What Supergrow does well

Supergrow is a strong product for people and teams who post often. You can upload existing voice memos or audio files(Supergrow, voice notes, 2026-10-24) and turn them into posts, and its Teams plan includes 5 accounts(Supergrow pricing, 2026-10-24) with feedback and approval workflows, which suits a company running its executives' profiles. It also ships often: its changelog promises everything we ship, every two weeks(Supergrow changelog, 2026-10-24).

Pro is $39 a month, or $31 billed annually(Supergrow pricing, 2026-10-24), and Teams is $199 a month(Supergrow pricing, 2026-10-24). There is no free plan on the pricing page; you start with a trial, and if you don't pick a plan afterwards, your account pauses(Supergrow pricing, 2026-10-24).

Why some people leave Supergrow

Most Supergrow reviews are positive, so these are the recurring reservations rather than a pattern of complaints.

Analytics. A G2 reviewer wrote that the analytics hasn't really worked as well(G2 review, 2026-03-16).

An interface that takes getting used to. Another G2 reviewer found the UX/UI is pretty dated. It can be a little quirky(G2 review, 2026-05-22).

Team approvals. A reviewer on a team noted that you cannot send to two people at once for approval, and you need separate accounts for every LI profile(G2 review, 2026-05-22).

Visuals. One reviewer said the carousels felt limited(G2 review, 2026-05-26).

The number of tools. A YouTube reviewer, who discloses an affiliate link to Supergrow, liked the product but said the catch is the fact that there's so many tools(Online Income Toolz, Supergrow review video, 2025-02-21).

Amelia: best for drafts from your own notes, in one chat

Amelia is for people who have useful things to say but rarely post: consultants, founders, coaches and other professionals who don't want to become content creators. You send a note, a link, a thought or a voice memo, from the web app, WhatsApp, Telegram, email or the Chrome extension. Amelia starts from your notes, voice memos, conversations, and actual work(Amelia homepage, 2026-10-24), drafts the post, and you review, edit and publish it to LinkedIn from the same chat. She writes posts in 20 languages(Amelia pricing, 2026-10-24).

Price: the Free plan starts with 5 free posts, then 2 every month(Amelia pricing, 2026-10-24). Pro is $29 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly(Amelia pricing, 2026-10-24), with unlimited posts.

Trade-offs: Amelia has no engagement or comment tools, no lead outreach and no approval workflow across several executives, and carousels are listed as coming soon. Amelia is new, so there are no independent reviews of her yet. If you run LinkedIn for a team of executives, Supergrow's Teams plan does more.

Our Amelia vs Supergrow comparison covers the two side by side.

AuthoredUp: best if you write every word yourself

AuthoredUp is a Chrome extension and editor for people who write their own posts. It adds formatting LinkedIn lacks, such as bold and italic fonts, bullets and numbered lists(AuthoredUp pricing, 2026-10-24), a preview of the exact feed view on desktop and mobile(AuthoredUp pricing, 2026-10-24), and detailed post analytics.

Price: $19.95 per month(AuthoredUp pricing, 2026-10-24) for one profile, with a free trial that needs no credit card.

Trade-offs: it does not draft posts for you in the way Supergrow does; its AI assistant, Coauthor, is still a beta. It works through a Chrome extension, with no native mobile app. See our AuthoredUp alternatives guide for more.

Typefully and Buffer: best if you only need to schedule

If your posts are already written, a scheduler is the simplest option. Typefully has a free plan and publishes to X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Threads, Mastodon and Substack(Typefully pricing, 2026-10-24). Buffer's free plan lets you connect up to 3 channels(Buffer pricing, 2026-10-24), and paid plans are priced per channel.

Trade-offs: neither is built around LinkedIn. An independent pricing review advises to skip Typefully if Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn analytics is the job(JustPricing, Typefully pricing, 2026-10-20), and a review of Buffer notes that the per-channel pricing climbs quickly once you manage several platforms(The Marketing Agency, Buffer review).

Taplio: best if you want more, not less

Taplio is the alternative for people who want a bigger toolkit than Supergrow: a library its pricing page lists as 5M+ Inspiration & viral posts(Taplio pricing, 2026-10-24), engagement tools and, on Pro, lead outreach. Plans are $39 for Starter, $69 for Growth and $199 for Pro(Taplio pricing, 2026-10-24) a month, and AI post writing starts on Growth. Our Taplio alternatives guide covers it in detail.

ContentIn: best for a fixed weekly routine

ContentIn asks you to dump what happened this week(ContentIn pricing, 2026-10-24) and turns it into a week of posts, published through LinkedIn's official API. It trains on at least 20 of your existing LinkedIn posts(ContentIn pricing, 2026-10-24), so it suits people who already post. Growth is $39/month, or $31/month billed annually(ContentIn pricing, 2026-10-24), and there is no free plan.

Which one should you pick?

  • You manage several executives' profiles with approvals: stay with Supergrow, on Teams.
  • You post rarely and want the fewest steps from a thought to a post: Amelia.
  • You write your own posts: AuthoredUp.
  • You only schedule: Typefully or Buffer.
  • You want more growth tools, not fewer: Taplio.
  • You want a weekly routine and have a posting history: ContentIn.

Does Supergrow turn voice notes into LinkedIn posts?

Which Supergrow alternative is best for teams?
