Plans & credits
The four plans
Free, Starter, Leader, Rainmaker. What each one unlocks and who they're for.
Amelia has four plans. They differ on three things: how many credits you get each month, how much storage you can use, and which features are unlocked.
At a glance
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Credits/mo | Storage | X crosspost | Opus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Explorer (Free) | Free | Free | 15 | 250 MB | no | no |
| Starter | $39 | $29 | 75 | 2 GB | no | no |
| Leader | $69 | $49 | 375 | 10 GB | yes | no |
| Rainmaker | $139 | $99 | 1,875 | 25 GB | yes | yes |
Annual prices are billed once per year (about 30% off monthly). Switch any time in Settings → Billing.
Explorer (Free)
The free plan exists so you can try Amelia properly before committing.
- 15 credits per month (roughly 10 posts plus light back-and-forth chat)
- 3 chat messages per day (the only daily cap on any plan)
- 250 MB of storage for files, screenshots, and voice memos
- Full access to drafting, publishing, scheduling, AI images, memory, all 20 languages
If you want to write a few posts a month and see whether Amelia clicks for you, this is enough.
Starter
For people who want to post consistently (a couple of times a week) without thinking about cost.
- 75 credits per month (about 3 posts per week, with images)
- 2 GB storage
- Unlimited chat (chat costs are billed against your credit pool)
Good if you're building the habit and don't yet need X crossposting or Opus-quality drafts.
Leader
The plan most people end up on. Built for daily posting plus quality checks on every draft.
- 375 credits per month (daily posting with full quality / hook / voice analysis on each post)
- 10 GB storage
- X crossposting unlocked: auto-publish to X when you publish to LinkedIn (0.5 credits per crosspost)
- Engagement-time recommendations (the best windows to publish for your audience)
If you treat LinkedIn as part of your weekly rhythm, Leader is the sweet spot.
Rainmaker
The "I'm doing this seriously" plan. Same features as Leader, plus our highest-quality drafting model.
- 1,875 credits per month (high-volume posting, multiple drafts per topic, repurposing)
- 25 GB storage
- Opus model for generation tasks: drafts, style analysis, alignment scoring. Opus actions cost 3× credits but produce noticeably better drafts. Chat stays on Sonnet for speed.
- Everything Leader gets
Choosing a plan
A simple rule: pick the plan where you'd rather not think about credits.
- Posting weekly? Starter.
- Posting daily, want quality checks? Leader.
- Posting daily-plus, want the best drafts the model can produce? Rainmaker.
If you run out of credits before your next reset, you can buy a 25-credit pack for $5 as a one-time top-up, useful for a busy week without committing to an upgrade.
Changing plans
In Settings → Billing:
- Upgrade: takes effect immediately. You're prorated for the remainder of the billing cycle.
- Downgrade: takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You keep your current plan until then.
- Cancel: switches you back to Explorer at the end of the cycle. Your data stays put.
